The Bison Information Network, also known as BIN, is a student-run organization on NDSU's campus that offers numerous learning and resume' building opportunities to students in the broadcasting field and beyond.
ABOUT US
The Bison Information Network is located in Suite 250 in the Memorial Union. The Bison Information Network is supported by North Dakota State University's Communication Department. Campus channel 3.1 is where you can see the student produced BIN Newscast live from the television studio on Wednesday at 6:00 PM. It is also played back at various times during the week on campus channel 3.1. BIN also produces a 60 minute weekly sports show called "Bison Overtime" on Tuesday afternoons at 4:00 PM.
Professional camera training is provided to every new BIN member so that you may begin to contribute content to the BIN produced programs in your first week of membership. Other learning opportunities within the Bison Information Network range from reporting, anchoring, working production (graphics, audio, directing) for remote broadcasting, shows and newscasts, to making commercials and promotional videos for many different entities around the Fargo-Moorhead area.
We proudly collaborate with KNDS 96.3 FM and with The Spectrum
